How to Cancel Your Mailbux Subscription

Before You Cancel

We are sorry to see you go. Before cancelling, please note:

  • Cancelling your paid subscription downgrades you to the free plan — your account is NOT deleted.
  • Your email accounts, domains, and data remain intact on the free plan.
  • Free plan limitations will apply (ads, "Sent by Mailbux" branding, reduced storage).
  • If your current storage usage exceeds the free plan limit, you may lose access to some emails.

How to Cancel Your Subscription

  1. Click Settings in the sidebar, then select Subscription.
  2. Scroll down to your active subscription and click Cancel Subscription.
  3. Review what you will lose — the confirmation modal shows exactly what changes when you downgrade.
  4. Confirm by clicking Continue to Cancel — you will be redirected to the billing portal to finalize.

Your subscription remains active until the end of your current billing period. You will not be charged again after cancellation.

What Happens After Cancellation

  • Your plan changes to Unlimited Free at the end of the billing period.
  • Storage quota is reduced to the free plan limit.
  • "Sent by Mailbux" branding appears on outgoing emails.
  • Ads may be displayed in the dashboard.
  • All your email accounts, domains, and messages remain — nothing is deleted.

Want to Delete Your Account Entirely?

If you want to permanently delete your account and all data (email accounts, domains, messages), please contact support. Account deletion is irreversible and cannot be undone.

Changed Your Mind?

You can resubscribe anytime from Settings → Subscription. Your data will still be there, and you will regain full access immediately.
