Setup Using Samsung Email or Other Apps

The steps are similar across most Android email apps:

  1. Open the email app and go to Settings > Add account.
  2. Choose Other or IMAP as the account type.
  3. Enter your email address and password.
  4. When prompted for server details, use the settings from the table above.

Troubleshooting

  • Login failed: Your username must be your full email address, not just the part before the @.
  • Cannot connect to incoming server: Confirm the server is my.mailbux.com and port is 993 with SSL/TLS.
  • Cannot send email: Make sure SMTP is set to port 587 with STARTTLS and authentication is required.
  • Certificate error: Check that the server hostname has no extra spaces or characters.
